Arrivals at Tallahassee are slightly less at just under 4 hours. Those traveling to Miami will generally arrive at just under 3 hours. This is assuming that all of these flights are non stop. Those with connections will obviously take slightly longer.
Florida is likewise home to some of the largest airports in the country. What to Do in Florida
Many families and groups are drawn towards Orlando, the world’s theme park capital. Drawing in more than 50 million people every year, Disney World Orlando is the most popular attraction in the world. The park comprises of 4 themed lands (Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom) filled with attractions and rides to enjoy. Universal Orlando consists of Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure and is theme park geared towards adults and teenagers. The parks has a number of attractions, the most recent being the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Nature lovers will enjoy visiting the Everglades National Park. The park spans 610,684 hectares and encompasses a variety of different landscapes including sawgrass prairies and cypress swamps. The park is also home to a number of interesting creatures such as Green Turtles and American Crocodiles. Florida Bay is the park’s largest body of water and is home to sponges, fish and coral.
Art enthusiasts will already know that Florida has an impressive portfolio of galleries. One of the most famous is the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg which is home to the most comprehensive collection of works by the Spanish surrealist in the world. In addition, the Ringling Museum Complex is also a popular attraction. This complex is the official state museum of Florida and is home a great selection of contemporary works and old masterpieces.
